Sala, a pioneer of electronic music played his Trautonium, an early electronic musical instrument invented in Berlin in 1930.
For this live performance, his concert was displayed as a gigantic video projection above the urban flow. The metal façade of the Zeilgalerie was turned into a giant TV screen in the public space.

Great Wall of China / Die Chinesische Mauer

First, the good news: The Great Wall of China can, indeed, be seen from outer space with the naked eye.
So education officials, who fretted about changing textbooks - which have long held that the Great Wall and the dykes in the Netherlands were the only man-made structures visible from space - can breathe easy.
Yang Liwei, the nation's first spaceman, disappointed a lot of Chinese when he said he did not see the wall during his orbit of less than 24 hours in October 2003, prompting calls for revisions in textbooks.
But there is a rider: There are many, many structures which can also be seen, such as the Pyramids of Egypt, airports, highways - and even Beijing's Third Ring Road.

Knife Pulled out of Russian Patient’s Head

Artur Dzhavanyan said he had met an old friend the day before, and they had been drinking at Dzhavanyan’s house. His friend started to complain about his problems, and later they started to quarrel a bit, but then they decided to go to bed. After an hour, Artur woke up with an intense pain and when he looked in the mirror he saw a knife sticking in his head. Artur Dzhavanyan went to his neighbor’s door with the knife in his head. His neighbor, a nurse, immediately called for an ambulance.Dzhavanyan is not going to press charges against his friend. He vowed to punish his friend himself.

Charity single still tops UK charts

The charity single "(Is This The Way To) Amarillo" by 1970s crooner Tony Christie and comic Peter Kay made it six weeks at the top of the British pop charts on Sunday.
The 1971 classic, re-released to raise funds for Comic Relief and featuring Christie, Kay and other celebrities lip-synching the lyrics in its video, held off the latest Elvis Presley reissue, the Official UK Charts Company said.
Presley's "Way Down", a chart topper from the mid-1970s, debuted in second spot in the second week of the new combined download/singles chart which includes tracks downloaded via the Internet provided they are also available in the shops as CDs.

Red Bull And Jordan Defect? / Spaltung der Formel1

Up until now the nine teams (everyone bar Ferrari) had maintained a unity in resisting the overtures of Bernie Ecclestone and the FIA to sign up to F1 beyond 2007. They had also joined forces to oppose Ferrari’s unlimited testing in 2005.
Now, after Red Bull and Jordan joined Ferrari in Paris to discuss the schedule for the technical regulations that would be brought in from 2008 onwards it looks like the gang of nine may well have become the gang of seven.

Trotz der Spaltung der Formel 1 in zwei Lager wird die FIA die Regelerstellung für die Zeit nach dem derzeit gültigen Concorde Agreement zügig voranbringen. Am heutigen Freitag hatte die FIA wieder ein Treffen angesetzt, um die Grundzüge der Formel 1 ab 2008 zu diskutieren. Wie schon am 28. Januar kündigte nur Ferrari das Kommen an, die anderen Teams beschlossen im Vorfeld, nicht nach Paris zu reisen.
Dennoch war, im Gegensatz zu Januar, FIA-Präsident Max Mosley nicht mit Ferrari als einzigem Team alleine. Auch Red Bull Racing entsandte eine Delegation und offenbar auch Jordan. Über den genauen Inhalt der Gespräche ist noch nichts bekannt, doch zumindest der Zeitplan wurde erstellt. Bis zum 31. Dezember 2005 müssen die Formel-1-Regeln für die Saison 2008 beschlossen sein, nun soll es Schritt für Schritt auf diese Deadline zugehen - ungeachtet der Gespräche der anderen neun Teams mit den Herstellern.
