£63,000 for a patch of beach

A patch of sand in a popular Welsh seaside resort was sold for £63,000.
The section of sand dune, which measures only several feet, is located on the main beach in Abersoch, north Wales.
It eventually fetched £13,000 over its original guide price at a property auction in Deganwy.
The tiny slip of beach comes with stunning views of Cardigan Bay and St Tudwal's islands.
But the main attraction of the plot is the fact it comes complete with planning permission for a highly-prized beach hut.
The shack, which can only measure 12ft by 10ft, is not allowed running water or electricity.
A spokeswoman for estate agents Beresford Adams, in Abersoch, said the plot had been highly sought-after.
