Reward offered for stolen Dalek

A Dalek has been stolen from a Somerset attraction and its owners are worried in case it's been exterminated. The TV villain was promoting an upcoming Dr Who exhibition at Wookey Hole Caves near Wells when it went missing on Monday night.

On Thursday, staff found the plunger arm and a ransom note on a doorstep.
The note read: "We are holding the Dalek captive. We demand further instructions from the Doctor."The group, signing themselves Guardians of the Planet Earth, added: "For the safety of the human race we have disarmed and removed its destructive mechanism."
Wookey Hole's owners have offered a £500 reward for the model's return,” says the Beeb, adding:.“Former Dr Who actor Colin Baker has been in touch with staff at the attraction, and may be asked to send a message to the kidnappers.”
